Starting a business can be a wonderful achievement. When I started Upper Class Collections it was from the lounge room of my rented house. Like all new start-ups, I went into business hoping to make money. Of course, I am still waiting for that pot of gold (again like most business owners), but now I realize that pot of gold has nothing to do about money.

Since that time, Upper Class Collections has grown into something a lot bigger and has touched the lives of many people. Our team in Joondalup Western Australia, where our head office is located are all locals. Some are new Australians (migrants), some are single mothers, others have growing families. In some cases, getting employment would have been exceedingly difficult if Upper Class Collections was not there to support them.

With national collections and field work being our initial focus, we expanded our network throughout every state in Australia. We have an agent network covering 99% of the Australian population, helping the employment of many people throughout Australia.

We then expanded our services to include international collections. We now have family members in Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. We now have a team of professionals throughout many countries in ASEAN and Oceania, who encompass many different backgrounds, religions, cultures, and languages.

No matter what religion, race, or language we speak, business can break down all barriers, even where politicians cannot. Now that pot of gold appears exceedingly small in comparison to what Upper Class Collections has become. We now contribute to the employment and economy of many countries around the world.

At Upper Class Collections we do not enter business competitions and try to shower ourselves with as many trophies as possible. Trying to find accolades for what we do is not a very fulfilling way to spend our lives. We would rather employ someone or help a family by providing employment and therefore contribute to the economy of a struggling nation.

A private company, we have grown because of the hard work of our UCC family and not because of any rich investors. Our beautiful team, though totally different in many ways has come together as everyone in the world should, to work together for the betterment of all.

That pot of gold has become something a lot more important than money.
